Description: Pinwheel Marigold is an old heirloom variety. The flowers it produces are beautiful, fragrant and are very beneficial to bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

How To Grow Pinwheel Marigold From Seed: Sow indoors in early spring from March onwards. Sow directly outdoors in April to May.

If starting indoors, using a seedling module or small pots, sow 2 seeds per pot/cell and cover lightly with fine soil. Germination usually takes 1 to 2 weeks. When the seedlings establish, thin to leave only the strongest one in each pot/cell. 

Transplant outdoors or into their final place when they are 7cm tall, and have their first set of true leaves. Leave 35cm of space between each plant. Marigolds flower for an extended period, meaning they are of great benefit to bees and other pollinators. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
