Zinnia: Canary Yellow Organic Seed

Zinnia: Canary Yellow Organic Seed

40 Organic Zinnia Seeds [approx]

Name: Zinnia: Canary Yellow

Latin Name: Zinnia elegans

Plant Type: Annual

Plant Height: 60 cm

Description: Canary Yellow Zinnia produces double flower heads that flower in abundance from June to October. The plant will grow to roughly 60cm in height. Zinnia will keep producing flowers if its dead flowers are removed.

Seed Origin: Austria

Sowing: March to June

Flowering: June to October

How To Grow Zinnia From Seed: Using seedling modules or small pots, sow 1 seed in each cell/pot. Press the seed into damp compost, and only barely cover it, as it needs light to germinate. Keep moist throughout germination. Germination should take less than 2 weeks.

When the seedlings outgrow their seed starting cells/pots, transplant them into larger pots.

Transplant out to the garden when frost risk has passed. Alternatively, sow directly outside when the risk of frost has passed.

Water Zinnias regularly, and remove the dead flower heads to keep the plant flowering for a long period.

Seed count is approximate.
